This case is molded from a single continuous piece of pulp and opens along a formed spine, the same way a book cover swings open - not lifted off like a lid. One panel is a smooth, flat cover; the other is a shaped tray built specifically to hold and protect a phone.

It opens like a book, not a box. The hinge is formed from the same piece of pulp as the rest of the case - not a separate part glued or stapled on. That means the opening motion itself feels considered, which is the first impression a customer gets before they've even seen the product inside.

The phone sits on a raised platform, not in a flat well. A 4 cm × 7.9 cm platform, 1.5 cm tall, lifts the device off the base of the tray and holds it centered. A 2 cm wall runs around the platform, giving the phone a protective margin against side-impact drops without adding bulk to the case.
