Released is the June 2024 Printing-Writing Monthly Report of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). According to the report, printing-writing paper shipments in June compared to June 2023 overall increased 2%.

Total printing-writing paper stockpile levels increased 3% over May 2024.

U.S. total printing-writing paper purchases in May increased 9% over the same month previous year.

In all three primary P-W categories-UFS, CFS, and MECH-U.S. shipments increased separately in June over the same period last year. Mechanical paper shipments increased by 7%; covered free sheet shipments by 4%; uncoated free sheet shipments by 1%.
