Take-out clamshells: heat, grease and the closing force
A take-out clamshell lives a hard life in ninety minutes: filled hot, closed by hand, stacked, carried, and then expected to hold its shape when the customer opens it. Fiber handles that cycle well, provided the hinge and the closure are designed for the heat the container will actually see.
What we build into a food-service clamshell:
- Hinge with enough web to close and reopen without cracking, including when it is filled with something heavy and hot.
- Positive closure - interlocking tabs or a press-fit edge that stays latched in a delivery bag but opens without tearing the lid.
- Stackable profile so filled clamshells nest on a counter or in a bag without the lower lid collapsing.
- Vented or lidded variants - vents where fried food needs to shed steam, a closed dome where a sauce or a salad needs to stay in.
- Compartment options moulded into the base for a main and one or two sides.
Standard sizes cover the common burger, bowl and tray formats; custom footprints are a tool change. All parts stay in the paper recycling stream and are available in a natural unbleached tone or a brighter white for presentation.

Q: Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer founded in Hong Kong in 2013, with two production bases in Dongguan, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and a total manufacturing area of 26,000 square meters. You are welcome to visit or audit our factory.
Q: What is your MOQ for custom molded fiber packaging?

Q: What is the production lead time?
A: Lead time is generally 15-25 days after sample approval, depending on order quantity and technical difficulty. The exact schedule is confirmed together with your order.
Q: Is molded fiber packaging safe for direct food contact?
A: Yes. Our food-grade molded fiber trays are produced from virgin plant fiber and comply with food-contact requirements. Please tell us your destination market when requesting a quotation, and we will confirm the applicable compliance documents (for example FDA or EU 1935/2004).
Q: Are your molded fiber food trays PFAS-free?
A: Yes. We offer PFAS-free, plastic-free molded fiber trays with water and oil resistance achieved through fiber selection and forming process, rather than fluorochemical coatings.
Q: Can you produce trays in custom shapes and compartment layouts?
A: Yes. We custom-mold trays to your product dimensions and required compartment layout, based on your 3D drawing or physical sample. Samples are provided for approval before mass production.
