Inserts: the part that turns a carton into a packaging system

An insert is where packaging design actually happens. The carton carries the branding and the logistics data; the insert decides whether the product survives the journey and whether the unboxing feels considered.

We mould pulp inserts from recycled and virgin fiber across the range of formats a packaging engineer is likely to need:

• Single-cavity trays for one product, with clearance drawn for ports, buttons or a protruding element.
• Multi-cavity kits that hold a product plus accessories, with a divider wall between every pocket.
• Two-piece sets - a base tray and a lid tray that together close the product inside a rigid box.
• Foldable inserts pressed flat and closed at the packing station to save inbound freight.
• Layered sets that separate a product from paperwork or a manual.

The material route follows the application: recycled kraft for protection-first industrial work, bagasse for a clean food-facing or retail surface, thermoformed stock for smooth thin walls. All of them press the same way, so the geometry can be reworked without changing the fibre strategy.
