A Packaging company  has unveiled its latest offering, a line of makeup compacts made entirely from 100% molded pulp using their proprietary it Ecoform plant-based material. The US-based packaging supplier developed this alternative to thermoformed plastics, utilizing bamboo, wood, and sugar cane fibers in the production process. These new compacts, featuring a patent-pending design, can be fully customized and boast a magnet-free closure, with the potential inclusion of a removable mirror.

The development of this innovative application took over a year of research and development before its market launch. Customization options for the compacts include embossing, stamping, and the addition of an FSC paper mask for enhanced decoration.

In a statement, the company emphasized its commitment to eliminating plastics from its supply chain and stated that the it Ecoform molded pulp compacts align with their mission to create a better world through design innovation. By summer 2023, it Packaging aims to remove 200 metric tons of plastic from its supply chain.
