Structural elements of paper tray products

1. The design of the structural elements of cushioning packaging is the basis of the structural design of paper tray products. At present, the design of the structural elements of paper tray products is still in the preliminary design stage. The basic structural elements of paper tray products usually include wave, table shape, and hemispherical shape. Among them, the more common ones are the wave shape and the platform shape. In the actual design, most of them are combined with a series of stiffener settings to improve the performance of all aspects of the elements, so as to obtain a good cushioning effect and adapt to the packaging requirements of different products. The performance of structural elements is mainly reflected by the carrying capacity, impact energy absorption and resilience

1. Carrying capacity

With different paper tray cushioning packaging structures, the static load and deformation are different. General research and tests have proved that it is ideal to cushion the load-deformation of the structural elements of the package by static testing. The force on the contents of the package is not increasing, and the capacity is absorbed by the paper tray. Tests have proved that another important factor that affects the load-bearing capacity is the slope. From the perspective of a single load-bearing capacity, the smaller the slope of the side wall of the buffer structure, the higher the load-bearing capacity. However, considering the paper tray forming process, the slope is over Small, it will affect the release of the paper tray.

2. Absorption of energy

The paper tray can absorb external energy during the product circulation process to protect the product. The greater the absorbed energy, the better the buffer capacity. In addition, the degree of energy absorption is also related to the physical state of the paper tray, such as density, quality, and deformation laws.

3. Resilience

The paper tray is restored to its original size after loading, which is very important for the structure of the paper tray. For a paper tray designed with a good structure, it has a great advantage in resilience. The better the protection, therefore, we must ask the designer to consider all aspects of the structure, craftsmanship, etc. in the design process at the initial stage of the product.

Molded pulp tray, also known as pulp molding, is made of Kraft Pulp, Newspaper, Virgin Pulp, etc. as raw materials, after being pulverized and blended into a proportionally concentrated pulp The materials are formed on a customized CNC tooling according to the product design, vacuum-adsorbed and formed (Forming process), and then dried to form environmentally friendly paper products of different types and uses.

It has good anti-vibration, anti-shock, anti-static, anti-corrosion effects, and is harmless to the environment. It is more conducive to the export of manufacturers' products. It is widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, computers, mechanical parts, industrial instruments, handicraft glass, ceramics , Toys, pharmaceuticals and other industries.

Paper trays can be divided into four categories: Industry, Farm, Food and Medical.

1. Industrial paper tray

Mainly used in lining packaging of large and small home appliances, mechanical parts, electronic products, and lighting.

2. Agricultural paper support

Mainly used in fruit, poultry eggs, and agricultural nutrition bowls.

3. Paper tray for food

Mainly used in food bowls, pots, and market food trays.

4. Medical paper tray

Mainly used in medical places, disposable medical products on the front line of the battlefield, such as paper urinals, paper bedpans, etc. Compared with plastic and stainless steel products, it can be shredded into paper fibers and discharged into the sewage system of medical places at one time, which can avoid cross-bacterial contamination.

The above are only partial performance comparisons. In fact, paper tray packaging has many advantages compared to foam packaging. With the improvement of environmental protection awareness, it is an inevitable trend to replace foam packaging on a large scale.
