Formed ring cushions for cream jars
Single-jar packs are usually the thinnest packs in a brand's range: a jar, a box, and a disc of foam or a thermoformed ring to stop the jar moving. All three of the protective parts are there for one purpose, and all three are usually plastic.
We press a formed fibre cushion that does that job in one part:
- Ring cushions sized to the jar's outer diameter, holding it centred with equal clearance all round.
- Bead and base support - the jar rests on its base ring, not on the threads.
- Top pads that sit above the lid, absorbing the load if the box is stacked.
- Compostable material by default, since a single-jar pack is exactly the format customers judge a brand on.
Where a jar and lid are supplied separately, the same cushion can carry both: a ring for the jar, a shallow recess for the lid, one moulding, and no loose parts to fall out when the customer opens the box.
