Most insert projects are imagined as a packaging redesign. They rarely need to be. If the product already ships in a carton that works, the insert can be built to that carton, and the carton, the print and the pallet pattern all stay as they are.

We design backwards from the box you have:

• Internal dimensions first - the tray outer size is derived from the carton, not the other way round.
• Product outline second - cavity geometry comes from the product's own silhouette and its centre of mass.
• Depth to the box flap, leaving the clearance your existing taping or gluing line needs.
• Accessory allowance in whatever space remains, before the tray is finalised rather than after.

The practical benefit is time: an insert-only change can go from drawing to sample in about two weeks, while a carton change usually drags print proofs, die plates and a catalogue update behind it.
