Full-enclosure fiber trays for cosmetics
A cosmetics clamshell is a full-enclosure fiber tray for beauty products that need protection on all six sides - glass bottles, candle jars, brush sets, mirror compacts. HESHENG (CSL) molds these as a two-part fiber clamshell, so the product is protected without a foam pad, a molded pulp filler and a printed sleeve doing three separate jobs.
Format choices on a cosmetics clamshell:
- Full clamshell - closed on all sides, best for fragile glass and for products that must stay clean in a retail environment.
- Tray and lid - separate molded lid where the brand wants to reuse the tray as a display.
- Clamshell with window - a cut-out covered by a paper window patch, if the product still needs to be visible.
- Suspended inner cradle - an inner pulp layer that floats the product so impact travels through fiber before reaching glass.
The interior cavity is molded to the product's actual diameter and height, with a neck or shoulder support for tall bottles so the weight does not hang on the cap. Exterior surfaces come hot-pressed smooth for print-ready presentation or textured for grip, and a debossed brand mark can be pressed directly into the lid.
