Hinged fibre clamshells for cosmetic packs

A cosmetics clamshell has to do two jobs that usually pull in opposite directions: hold a fragile filled jar rigidly enough for transport, and open into something a customer wants to photograph.

We press the shell, the cavity and a working living hinge in a single moulding, so there is no assembly step and nothing to come apart in the customer's hands:

• Living hinges formed in the same pass as the shell - no glued or taped joint.
• Snap-close rims that hold the shell shut for retail handling and release cleanly the first time it is opened.
• Scratch-safe cavity faces, with contact only at the jar's shoulder and base ring rather than across its label.
• Deboss and foil areas on the outer face, so the pack itself carries the brand instead of a sticker.

The wet-pressed surface is what makes this work for cosmetics specifically: it is dense and closed, closer to a fine paperboard than to a moulded drinks tray, which is why it reads as premium on a shelf next to glass and metal.
