Eco-friendly trays and the claim you can actually print
The difficult part of an eco-friendly tray is not choosing the material, it is wording the claim so that it survives a customer's question. A fiber tray supports a narrower but much stronger set of statements than a plastic one does.
What our trays allow you to say, and why:
- Made from plant fiber or recovered paper - bagasse, straw or recycled paper, all of them residue or post-consumer streams.
- No plastic in the pack - the tray is one material, so there is no liner or film to qualify the claim.
- Accepted in the paper stream - with the print on it, which is why we print directly on the fiber instead of using a label.
- Can replace foam and plastic together - a single tray typically stands in for a shell, a pad and a platform, so the customer disposes of one item, not three.
What we avoid is the claim a fiber tray cannot support on its own: a permanent water or grease barrier. Where one is genuinely needed the pack is designed with that barrier as an explicit component rather than implied by the word eco-friendly.

Q: Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer founded in Hong Kong in 2013, with two production bases in Dongguan, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and a total manufacturing area of 26,000 square meters. You are welcome to visit or audit our factory.
Q: What is your MOQ for custom molded fiber packaging?

Q: What is the production lead time?
A: Lead time is generally 15-25 days after sample approval, depending on order quantity and technical difficulty. The exact schedule is confirmed together with your order.
Q: Is molded fiber packaging safe for direct food contact?
A: Yes. Our food-grade molded fiber trays are produced from virgin plant fiber and comply with food-contact requirements. Please tell us your destination market when requesting a quotation, and we will confirm the applicable compliance documents (for example FDA or EU 1935/2004).
Q: Are your molded fiber food trays PFAS-free?
A: Yes. We offer PFAS-free, plastic-free molded fiber trays with water and oil resistance achieved through fiber selection and forming process, rather than fluorochemical coatings.
Q: Can you produce trays in custom shapes and compartment layouts?
A: Yes. We custom-mold trays to your product dimensions and required compartment layout, based on your 3D drawing or physical sample. Samples are provided for approval before mass production.
