.What are the categories of paper tray raw materials?
Answer: There are two common categories; one is raw pulp (such as: raw wood pulp, bamboo pulp, sugarcane pulp, straw pulp, etc.). The second category is recycling (such as: corrugated paper, newspapers, white-edged paper). In addition, according to customer requirements, different color base paper can also be used to produce colored paper support products.
2. Why are the weights of paper support products inconsistent?
Answer: First, the pulp concentration is changing. In the production process, the prepared pulp of a certain consistency will start to change as the formed paper tray leaves the pulp cylinder of the forming machine, and the pulp concentration will generally be controlled between 2.56% and 3.6%. The second is that the vacuum is constantly changing. In the molding process, the negative pressure value of the negative pressure tank loaded by the air compressor is also a variable with the progress of production. The superposition of the two variables causes the weight of the paper tray formed by the same suction time to vary between ±10%.
3. Why can't you or can't make the color I need?
Answer: For the dyeing of paper support products, water-based dyes are mostly added in the pulping process based on the original pulp. First, the change in the concentration of the pulp also leads to changes in the concentration of the dye during production. Second, most dyes are very sensitive to temperature. (During the drying process, the color will also change with the temperature of the drying line, and the mold temperature will also change at different temperatures when the mold temperature is 150° to 250° during hot pressing). In conclusion, products with high color requirements should not be dyed.
4. Why is this product not as smooth and neat as that product?
Answer: After the paper support product is formed, it is fully wet and will be deformed after the drying process. Then, the high temperature (150°~250°) and high pressure (3T~50T) of the plastic mold is used to restore it to the original designed geometric shape. The upper and lower mold clamping is subjected to vertical force, so the plane position is strongly stressed, the paper support appears smooth, and the inclined surface is not easily stressed and appears slightly rough. Then according to the actual requirements of product design, the smaller the slope, the more ribs, the smaller the plane, and the more the spherical arc surface, the lower the smoothness after shaping. This is the result of craftsmanship.
5. Why are there fine cracks on the surface of this product?
Answer: When the paper support product is formed, the pulp fiber is naturally adsorbed into a group layer by layer, and the liquid pulp will not flow out in some grooves, so that the thickness of the paper support at different positions after drying will be the same as the design standard thickness. If there is an error, when it is squeezed by a strong external force during high-pressure shaping, the outermost part of the fiber at the uneven thickness of the inner and outer layers will break, and it will appear as a fine crack from the surface. This phenomenon will not affect the strength of the paper tray packaging, so it is acceptable in the industry.
6. Why can't I add a buckle to hold my product?
Answer: Paper support (pulp molding) products are closed up and down during molding and shaping, and there must be a certain draft angle. When molding, the wet product cannot take off the mold, so the paper support cannot be designed with an upside-down position.
7. Why are there uneven burrs around the flanged product?
Answer: The flanging structure product is flat-edged in the molding, and the edge of the mold is a stainless steel filter screen when the vacuum is naturally adsorbed to the pulp. After shaping and flanging, the burrs will be turned to the side, which does not affect the packaging and is not used as a production control factor in the industry. If the customer has high requirements for this, trimming can be used, and the burrs can be cut off with a die.
8. Why do you set up MOQ?
Answer: The production of paper trays has to go through pulping, molding, moulding, debugging, and drying. After shaping, it takes about half an hour for the moulds to heat up. Too little quantity will lead to a great increase in production costs. Moreover, paper trays are low-added products. Value products, the quantity is too small, the transportation cost also increases greatly. It is necessary to set up MOQ.
9. Why can't you make the design according to the size I require?
Answer: First, the size is too large. Generally, the length and width limit of the machine used in the industry is: 800mmX600mm. The special model is: 1500mmX1200mm. It cannot be produced beyond this size. The second is; the specified design size is too small, the paper holder is designed to rely on the structure to buffer and shock, and there must be a certain structural design space.
10. Why is this model not as hard as the other?
Answer: The basic shock-proof buffering principle of the paper holder is realized by using the loop structure and the reinforcing rib position. Therefore, different design structures of the same slurry will have different shock-proof strengths, and the texture will be different when you touch the hand. The same type of mold uses different The pulp, due to the different lengths of pulp fibers and the characteristics of shrinkage, will also have different textures to the touch. Therefore, we need to let the engineer know the anti-vibration standard that needs to be achieved before selecting the raw materials and the design scheme, so as to design different loop structures and reinforcing rib positions according to the anti-vibration requirements.
11. Why can't this mold be modified any more?
A: For paper tray products, we need customers to provide accurate packaging requirements and the exact size of each packaged object before opening the mold, and the preliminary design work is adequate. After the mold is completed, the cavity of the forming mold is hollow, and the standard thickness is 10mm, so the modified size should be less than 10mm. If the size of the original cavity is changed too much, the size of the original cavity cannot be changed, and the plastic mold will also be unable to be modified due to the lack of material in the upper mold or the lower mold due to too large changes.
12. Why is the abbreviation of the paper holder "MPP"? And what is the customs number?
Answer: Pulp molding, English name: Molded Pulp Packaging, referred to as MPP, commonly known as paper tray. Customs code: 48239090
13. Why is this mold not as smooth as the original product after modification?
Answer: After the financial turmoil in 2008, the mold cavities processed by the general paper support factory are basically CNC machining. The cavity is completed in one piece, and the modified part of the position is manually modified. The accuracy of the modified position is less than the accuracy of CNC machining, so after the modification The position will be smooth without modification.
14. Why did the length (width) become larger after delivery?
Answer: For paper support products, the advantages of the paper support's slope will be used to superimpose and package the products during packaging. After placing, some products in transportation will swell due to the superposition and appear larger in length and width, but the other deformation of the paper support is back. The advantage of the spring is that the enlarged size of the product is not affected in actual use, and the original design size can be restored by simply pulling it back by hand during assembly.
15. Why is the paper mold so expensive? It turned out that it was only a few hundred quicker to open the blister mold?
Answer: The blister mold is generally first shaped with industrial gypsum and then sucked out the qualified products, and the copper layer can be electroplated with the qualified products, and the cost is very low. Each set of aluminum for paper pulp molding mold is 150-200kg (23-25 yuan/kg), CNC machining general mold cavity ≥ 180 hours, special epoxy resin 500 yuan/set, special forming stainless steel mesh 1.5 square (daily output : 600 yuan / square), 3 follow-up technicians 3 to 4 days for punching, net wrapping, special matching and other processes, so the plastic mold and the paper holder are not comparable.
