FAQ
Q: What is molded fiber pulp used for?
A: molded fiber pulp protects goods in transit by locking them into a formed fiber structure that replaces foam, corrugated edge boards and plastic inserts.
Q: What material is the molded fiber pulp made of?
A: Molded plant fiber gives the molded fiber pulp its structure: recycled paper, bagasse or bamboo pulp is formed, dried and trimmed to shape. The result is a plastic-free, recyclable and biodegradable packing part.
Q: Can the molded fiber pulp be customized to my product?
A: Yes. Cavity geometry, wall thickness and color can all be engineered to your product; send us a drawing or sample and we will return prototypes for approval.
Q: What is the MOQ and lead time for the molded fiber pulp?
A: Our standard MOQ is 10,000 pieces per design. If your project requires a different quantity, contact us at info@csl-packaging.com and we will review the options with you.
Q: Is the molded fiber pulp eco-friendly?
A: Yes. It is produced from renewable fiber with no plastic lamination, so after use it can be recycled with paper or composted, depending on local facilities.
